Aaron Taylor, Davis & Gilbert Advertising, Marketing & Promotions Associate, will co-host a webinar presented by BAA titled "Marketers Cry 'Green,' But Regulators See Red - Structuring Environmental Claims in Today's Regulatory Environment."

Session Overview
As environmental marketing becomes more prevalent and aggressive, regulators are increasingly seeing red over "green" claims. Mr. Taylor will discuss key issues that marketers should consider when developing "green" messaging and highlight recent FTC consent orders and NAD challenges brought against environmental marketers. Some of the issues to be addressed include:

  • The FTC’s guidelines concerning the marketing and advertising of "green" products
  • How to properly construct and substantiate environmental marketing claims
  • The repercussions of making unsubstantiated or overly broad environmental claims
