
Justin R. Pollak is a partner in the Corporate Practice Group of Davis & Gilbert. He is involved in all aspects of the firm’s corporate practice with a focus on seed and venture capital financings. Mr. Pollak regularly represents venture capital and angel investors in transactions across a broad range of industries, including fintech, blockchain, fashion, social and digital media, enterprise software, network security and biotechnology.
Mr. Pollak also represents emerging and high growth companies in transactions through all stages of their development. He frequently advises on formation and governance matters, preferred stock and convertible debt investments, venture debt facilities, complex commercial transactions, founder liquidity events, employment matters and exit transactions.
In addition, Mr. Pollak serves as a “Crit” adviser in the Startup Studio Program at Cornell Tech and is an active member of the Red Bear Angels, an investment group focused on angel investments in start-up companies with ties to Cornell University.
Prior to joining Davis & Gilbert, Mr. Pollak was a partner at Hand Baldachin & Associates LLP.

- Represented co-lead investor in a $100 million Series C financing of Selina Holding Company SE.
- Represented lead investor in $17.5 million Series C-1 financing of Classy, Inc.
