Tenant Representations

  • We have negotiated leases for the headquarters of the following companies: Young & Rubicam Group, Polo Ralph Lauren Corporation, MONY, MasterCard, Commerzbank, Deutsche Bank, Fuji Bank, Neuberger & Berman, Saatchi & Saatchi, Ogilvy & Mather, Grey Global Group, Dentsu Holdings USA, The Segal Company, J. Walter Thompson, Meredith Broadcasting, The Associated Press, Planned Parenthood, Publicis Groupe, the National Football League, Natixis S.A. and Omnicom Group Inc.
  • We negotiated leases for the “flagship” locations of the following retail clients: Brooks Brothers, UNIQLO, Crate & Barrel, Williams-Sonoma, West Elm, Pottery Barn, Joe Fresh, Raymour & Flanigan, Chopard, Ann Taylor, Men’s Wearhouse and Alexis Bittar.
  • We represented Publicis Groupe, a multinational advertising agency, in the renewal and expansion of its lease at 1675 Broadway for approximately 580,000 square feet.
  • We represented Group M Worldwide, Inc. in the leasing of over 515,000 square feet at 3 World Trade Center in New York City – one of Manhattan’s largest commercial office leases completed in 2013.
  • We have represented several law firm tenants in lease transactions, including Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP in a lease renewal and restructuring of its New York City headquarters location covering approximately 600,000 square feet at 425 Lexington Ave in New York City (one of Manhattan’s top 5 largest leases in 2013), as well as Hunton & Williams, Dorsey & Whitney and Mayer Brown in negotiating their headquarters in New York City.
  • We have negotiated numerous real estate transactions (both dispositions and acquisitions) for Lehman Brothers Holdings, Inc.
  • We represented Major League Baseball in its lease of space for the Fan Cave, a venue for special events relating to baseball, in downtown Manhattan.
  • We regularly represent Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc. in various lease transactions, including its New York City headquarters lease, as well as other leasing transactions for its affiliated companies throughout the United States.
  • We handled restaurant leases on behalf of Michael Lomonaco (Porter House in the Time Warner Center); Marc Murphy (Landmarc at 179 West Broadway and the Time Warner Center); and the world-renowned chef David Bouley (Bouley and Danube restaurants).
  • We regularly handle leasing transactions for McDonalds, Panera Bread, Chick-fil-A, Godiva, Organic Avenue, Smashburger, UBS Financial Services, Raymour & Flanigan, Pret A Manger, Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn, The Conran Shop, West Elm, Chico’s, Bank of America and Chopard.
  • We represented a major consumer electronics company in connection with the leasing of its flagship stores in New York City and Boston, as other retail locations in New York City.
  • On behalf of Clear Channel, we handled the lease of broadcast facilities and offices for LITE FM, the number one radio station in New York City.
  • We handled the leasing on behalf of the sponsor of the retail space and garage in connection with the conversion of the Manhattan House to condominium ownership.
  • We represent Avenues: The World School in its leasing and total renovation of its first school on the High Line, New York City.
  • We represented Bell Canada, Williams Communications, MCI Worldcom and McLeod Telecommunications in a number of switch facility and data center leases and colocation agreements.

Landlord Representations

  • We handle leasing work for the Tishman Speyer real estate portfolio in New York City and elsewhere, including Rockefeller Center and the Chrysler Building. Recent large and high-profile leases we have handled on behalf of Tishman Speyer include Jefferies & Company’s 450,000-square-foot lease renewal, expansion and restructuring at 520 Madison Avenue; Lazard’s 430,000 square foot lease and Deloitte & Touche’s 436,139 square foot lease at 30 Rockefeller Plaza; and Dreyfus Corporation’s 262,181 square foot lease, Paul Hastings’ 190,000 square foot lease, and MetLife’s 500,000 square foot lease at the MetLife Building.
  • We handle leasing for Vornado Realty Trust, SL Green Realty Corp., Monday Properties, Rockrose Development Corp., TF Cornerstone Inc., Westbrook Partners, Rockwood Capital, Oxford Properties Group, Thor Equities LLC, Kato International LLC, and SJP Properties.
  • We represent Trinity Real Estate in connection with its New York City office building portfolio of over 15 buildings covering approximately 6 million square feet. We handle all aspects of Trinity’s building operations, including lease transactions, construction contracts and service contracts.
  • We represented the landlord of 11 Times Square in the leasing of approximately 400,000 square feet to the law firm Proskauer Rose LLP.
  • We represented the owner of 7 Hanover Square, New York City, in the leasing of its building to Guardian Life.
  • We represented Equitable Life in UBS PaineWebber's 600,000-square-foot lease restructuring and Paul Weiss' 300,000-square-foot lease restructuring at 1285 Avenue of the Americas in New York City.
  • We represented The Feil Organization in the negotiation of a 115,000-square-foot lease for a BJ’s Wholesale Club in Levittown, New York; a Hy-Vee Supermarket in Illinois; a Gander Mountain Sports in Alabama; and a Hobby Lobby in Louisiana.
  • We represented the owner of 1177 Avenue of the Americas in the Price Waterhouse headquarters lease in New York City.
  • We represented the landlord in the lease negotiation for the Balenciaga flagship location in New York City.
  • We represented the owner of 720 Fifth Avenue in its net lease of the entire building.


  • We represented Ross Procurement, a major department store chain, in its purchase of 1372 Broadway, a 21-story building with approximately 550,000 square feet of rentable space, as well as its previous sublease of 46,000 square feet at the building from the former owner.
  • We represented Young & Rubicam in the purchase of a commercial condominium unit and leasing of additional premises (totaling 339,132 square feet) at 3 Columbus Circle, New York City, as well as the sale of its headquarters building, 285 Madison Avenue in New York City.
  • We represented The Feil Organization in various transactions, including its acquisition of the Sunrise Business Center, a 400,000 square foot office park in Suffolk County, New York; the acquisition of a supermarket-anchored shopping center in Whitestone, Queens; and the disposition of fourteen net-leased properties throughout the United States.
  • We represented world-renowned chef David Bouley in the purchase and leasing of his New York City restaurants.
  • We represented Columbia Artists Management in the sale of its landmark building on 57th Street in New York City.
  • We represented the purchaser of two prominent office buildings in downtown Brooklyn, New York (241 and 250 Livingston Street).
  • We represented the seller in the sale of a building and land development in Ardsley, New York.
  • We represented MasterCard in the purchase and financing of its headquarters facility in Purchase, New York.
  • We represented the sellers in the sale of two large office buildings on West 47th Street in New York City.
  • We represented financial community sellers of office buildings in Boston, Massachusetts and Acton, Massachusetts.
  • We represented the seller of a warehouse building in Houston, Texas.


  • We represented an American multinational apparel company in its construction and design agreements for its East Coast office headquarters.
  • We represented restaurateurs such as David Bouley and Landmarc with their restaurant build-outs.
  • We represented Georg Jensen in the design and construction of its stores nationwide.
  • We represented the Lower East Side Tenement Museum in the construction of its new headquarters at Orchard Street, New York City.
  • We represented Avenues: The World School with respect to the design and construction contracts for its first private school on the High Line, New York City.


  • We represented the borrower in the refinancing of a commercial building in Philadelphia, PA.
  • We represented the borrower in the refinancing of a large cooperative apartment building in Manhattan.
