Programmatic media has grown rapidly as a percentage of the online media buying landscape in recent years and now represents tens of billions of dollars in digital ad spend globally. Participants in this ecosystem include startup ad tech businesses such as demand side platforms (DSPs), supply side platforms (SSPs), and data management platforms (DMPs) along with traditional media players such as publishers, advertisers, and agencies. This session will explore best practices in the programmatic space from a business and operational perspective and the unique legal, contractual and regulatory issues that apply to this fast growing and increasingly important portion of the media industry.
