March 12, 2015

Vejay G. Lalla, Davis & Gilbert Advertising, Marketing & Promotions Partner, will moderate a panel on “Crossing the Line? Emerging Trends in Native Advertising.”

Session Overview
As native and content based advertising continues to grow, so do the regulatory, legal, and business challenges for agencies, brands, and publishers. Two years after the FTC did its initial workshop on native advertising, the panel will look at recent trends in content based advertising, and the current landscape that agencies, brands, and publishers face in developing, integrating, and distributing original, editorial and user generated content via social and mobile platforms. Panelists include: Laura Brett, Staff Attorney, National Advertising Division of the BBB; Romy Horn, General Counsel, 360i; and Deirdre Sullivan, Senior Counsel, The New York Times.
