The Holmes Report’s Independent PR Firm Forum
October 27, 2014

Davis & Gilbert is a proud sponsor of the Holmes Report’s Independent PR Firm Forum taking place at The St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort in Miami Beach, FL.

Brad J. Schwartzberg, the Co-Chair of Davis & Gilbert’s Corporate Practice Group will moderate a panel session titled “Succession Planning for Smart Agency Owners.”

Experts believe that not enough agency owners give succession planning the attention it deserves. The panel will focus on how to identify future leaders, and the financial, contractual and equity incentives savvy agency owners have successfully put in place in building their next generation of leadership. When succession planning is done well, it substantially enhances the value of a PR firm, and ensures the firm’s long term survival and success.

The session will be kicked off by Davis & Gilbert Public Relations Law Chair and Litigation Practice Group Co-Chair, Michael C. Lasky, who will share the results of the research jointly conducted by the Holmes Report and Davis & Gilbert. The study, which targeted agency CEOs, COOs and CFOs from around the world, explores the various techniques and methodologies used by PR firms in handling their succession planning and focuses on “best in class” as well as “lessons learned.”
