Marissa L. Comart is an associate in the Litigation Practice Group of Davis & Gilbert. Ms. Comart regularly represents clients in a range of employment matters, including wage-and-hour disputes, non-compete and related restrictive covenant litigations, and workplace investigations regarding claims of harassment, discrimination and retaliation. She also provides anti-harassment trainings and counsels clients on compliance with federal, state and local employment law regarding a variety of workplace issues.

Ms. Comart has represented clients in copyright infringement cases brought by visual artists, street artists and musicians against international advertisers. She has extensive experience representing and advising clients in a broad range of complex commercial matters, including contract disputes, consumer class actions and regulatory investigations. Ms. Comart also has experience litigating in both federal and state courts at the trial and appellate levels.

Prior to joining Davis & Gilbert, Ms. Comart was an attorney at Kirkland & Ellis and Simpson Thacher & Bartlett. She has experience in antitrust law and regulatory inquiries and investigations, and has provided pro bono representation relating to immigration, education and criminal law.

Ms. Comart served as a law clerk to the Honorable Paul E. Davison, U.S. Magistrate Judge, Southern District of New York. While in law school, she served as an editor for the NYU Review of Law & Social Change. Before law school, Ms. Comart worked as a special education teacher.
