Charles Mileski is an associate in the Real Estate Practice Group of Davis & Gilbert. Mr. Mileski’s practice focuses on the representation of commercial landlords and tenants, in both office and retail leasing. He has extensive experience representing institutional investors and developers in connection with the formation of real estate acquisition and development joint ventures. In addition, Mr. Mileski has also represented lenders and borrowers in connection with real estate financings, including construction, mezzanine and various forms of equity financings.

Prior to joining Davis & Gilbert, Mr. Mileski was a real estate attorney at Morrison & Foerster LLP and a corporate real estate attorney at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP.

REPRESENTATIVE ENGAGEMENTS

  • Represented Pret A Manger in the leasing of stores in New York City, Boston and Washington D.C.
  • Represented multiple major New York City law firms in connection with the negotiation of leases for office space in New York City.
  • Represented Trinity Real Estate in a 6 million-square-foot portfolio of multiple buildings in Hudson Square in connection with construction and service-related contracts.
  • Ongoing representation of the owners of commercial buildings in New York City in connection with all sizes of lease-related transactions and ancillary agreements.
  • Represent the owners of commercial buildings in connection with telecommunications agreements with various telecommunications providers, including license agreements and leasing of roof space for telecommunications equipment.
  • Represented a technology firm in obtaining full floor space in a new Chelsea development.
  • Represent several law firms and financial services firms in connection with their leases in the Hudson Yards development, ranging from 80,000 to over 100,000 rentable square feet.
  • Represent several prominent New York City landlords in leasing mixed use buildings throughout New York City.
  • Represented a national insurance provider in negotiating a lease for its headquarters in Midtown Manhattan, totaling over 65,000 square feet.
  • Represented a national retail cosmetic chain in lease negotiation matters for its first Manhattan flagship store.
  • Represented a national car service firm in negotiating its headquarter lease in the Washington, D.C. metro area for an entire building, totaling nearly 50,000 square feet.
  • Represented a Manhattan non-profit theatre in connection with the refinancing of a mortgage loan.
  • Represented several clients in negotiating with various easements and other property agreements with, or required by, governmental authorities in the New York metropolitan area.
